How to select glass hardware for a shower enclosure
A practical checklist for choosing hinges, clamps, handles and support fittings before ordering.

Start with the enclosure design, then select the hardware. A finish photograph alone cannot confirm whether a fitting is suitable for your glass thickness, opening direction or panel dimensions.
1. Define the door and fixed panel layout
Identify which panels move, which are fixed and where each fitting will connect. Your drawing should show the walls, corners, openings and any supporting structure.
2. Match each fitting to the application
| Hardware | What to compare |
|---|---|
| Door hinges | Connection type, opening direction, glass thickness and the model drawing. |
| Clamps and brackets | Panel connection layout, fixing method and hole positions. |
| Handles and knobs | Fixing centers, glass preparation, profile and hand clearance. |
| Support bars | Mounting points, bar arrangement and the selected model dimensions. |
| Sliding systems | Rail, rollers, guides and fittings as a coordinated system. |
3. Confirm dimensions before processing glass
Use the drawing for the selected model and version. Similar-looking fittings can have different hole positions, cut-outs or fixing requirements. Have the enclosure design and installation details checked before glass processing.
4. Specify material and finish separately
Where the catalogue lists several material options, identify the option you need in your inquiry. Ask for confirmation of the available finish for that model rather than assuming every finish is available across the range.
5. Send an itemized inquiry
Include the model reference, quantity, destination, glass thickness and installation layout. Add any packaging, project schedule or sample requirements for discussion.
Browse all catalogue models and use the inquiry list to combine your selections.
